About

This is all about drinks, drinking, and liquid refreshment.  Starting this blog I wanted to make sure that the drinks we discussed weren’t about just alcohol.  In fact I go as far to provide an alcoholic and non-alcoholic version of the same drink when possible.  The only place I deviate from this is when I profile a drink I have out somewhere.

I love to eat and love food but, I am by no means a chef.  What I like to do is try different drinks wherever I go.  So sharing some of things I come across to accompany a meal or to enjoy on its own can be a real treat.  And to take this a step further many different venues are featured.

And if you are wondering my fall back drinks are red wine or a jack and coke.

My name’s Lauren, and I’m writing on behalf of Newcastle Brown Ale. We’re reaching out to bloggers in major cities across the country and sending fun Newcastle items to kick off the new year. May I have your address so that we can send you a mailer? If you have any questions, feel free to email me at the email address above. Thanks!

My company recently introduced a line of hard ciders in Las Vegas a few weeks ago. I’d like to invite you to an event I’m hosting at Total Wine & More in Henderson talking about the history of cider in Europe and the United State, we’ll taste the difference between American apple forward ciders and English dry ciders, I’ll provide a cider and cheese pairing and mixology adventures featuring different beers, spirits and desserts all paired with our ciders. The event is on Friday, June 17th from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

We’ll have the opportunity to taste ciders from all over the world. But we’ll also sample our line of Crispin apple ciders which are fermented using 100% fresh pressed apple juice and Fox Barrel pear ciders which are fermented using 100% fresh pressed pear juice. We don’t add any artificial colors, flavors, or sugars and all of our ciders are gluten free.

Hope you are able to join us.
